| Dolphin are very special creatures and nothing is more amazing than viewing them in the wild. Doing what they do...NATURALLY!  ABOUT THE KEY WEST DOLPHINThe waters surrounding Key West are home to approximately 175 bottle-nosed dolphins. Go out to their natural habitat and watch them do all the things that dolphins naturally do...playing, jumping, hunting, mating, or maybe just sleeping. (Dolphins keep swimming and are aware while they "sleep"). Naturally curious and playful, the dolphins will often approach the boat and seem as interested in us as we are in them. Your captain will explain dolphin behavior and maybe have a few interesting sea stories for you.  SNORKELINGPatches of coral reef, easily accessible from your boat, or perhaps a gulf sponge garden,make this a great trip for snorkelers of all ages and levels of experience. You'll see tropical fish and corals along with queen conchs, seastars, sponges and more. Average water depth is 5 to 10 feet deep.  Watch a pod of dolphin swiiming past or get your camera ready for a JUMP! |
